2011 Stock Truck/Float Parking
In 2011, Royal Show horse exhibitors will be unable to use the Adelaide City Council Park Lands for stock truck/float parking. However, the Society is pleased to advise that we have been able to secure a booking arrangement with Metropolitan Showjumping Club - a short drive from the Showground. Metropolitan Showjumping Club have parking and camping facilities available for 2011 horse exhibitors for just $20 per day. There are a limited number of powered sites, so be quick to return your booking form.
There are also 18 day stalls available at a cost of $5 per day.
If you would like to make a booking, please complete the booking form and return to the RA&HS as soon as possible.
2011 Royal Adelaide Show Led Stock Competition
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Led Stock exhibitors who have booked stabling for Friday, 19 August must arrive at the Adelaide Showground between 12.00 noon and 6.00 pm (arrival will not be permitted outside these times).
Exhibitors arriving on the day of competition can arrive from 6.00 am.
Entry will be via the Leader Street gate. Stable and locker numbers along with exhibit numbers must be collected upon arrival at the Showground from the roundhouse.
Once you have unloaded your float or truck, you must remove the vehicle and park in Leader Street Car Park 3. Exhibitors who do not remove their vehicle may be fined.
Measuring times are as follows:
Friday 19 August - 3.00 pm till 6.00 pm
Saturday 20 August - 7.00 am till 9.00 am
Classes will commence at 9.00 am on the Main Arena and a detailed timetable will be available soon
Led Stock classes (other than Ausrtalian Stock Horse) will be judged on Saturday 20 August at the Adelaide Showground. Please see the flyer below for details regarding stabling.
