Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market
The Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market is held at the Adelaide Showground on Sundays from 8am to 1pm (except on Easter Sunday and during the Royal Show).
The market is held inside the Beef Cattle Pavilion and outside in the adjoining carpark, adjacent to the Leader Street entrance to the Showground site.
The Farmers’ Market offers around 90 local farmers and producers representing every region of the state the opportunity to sell fresh, seasonal produce direct to consumers. The produce on offer ranges from fruit and vegetables to meat, seafood, dairy, eggs, nuts, chutneys and jams, bread, cheese, wine and more. Attracting around 6000 shoppers each weekend, the market is a great opportunity for consumers to interact with producers and learn about their fresh produce.
Entry to the market is free, however memberships are available and provide a 10% discount on all produce purchased from stallholders. Annual memberships can be purchased from the Information Tent at the market or at a discounted rate online via the market website. Members can also buy a weekly car parking pass that can be used every Sunday when visiting the market. Membership runs for the calendar year, and the fee is reduced periodically throughout the year. Memberships are also valid at our Gawler Farmers’ Market, located at the Gawler Visitor Information Centre carpark (2 Lyndoch Road, Gawler).
