As part of our ongoing commitment to minimising the impact of events on our neighbours, we would like to provide advance notice of the upcoming Laneway Festival at the Adelaide Showground. Event Details Event: Laneway Music Festival Date: Saturday, 14 February 2026 Location: Adelaide Showground Noise Management There will be one outdoor stage located on the Main Arena and one at the Northwest Carpark. Amplified Entertainment Times: 1:00pm – 11:00pm Intermittent sound and line checks may occur on: • Friday 13 February: 12:00pm – 7:00pm (various times within this time frame, not continuous) • Saturday 14 February: 10:00am - 1:00pm (various times within this time frame, not continuous) An acoustic engineer has been engaged to monitor sound levels and ensure compliance with the Adelaide Showground Event Noise Mitigation Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This SOP has been reviewed and approved by both the City of Unley and the EPA. Traffic Management: To support safe patron ingress and egress for the event, the following traffic and parking arrangements will be in place: Road Closures: Rose Terrace (between Goodwood Road and approximately 50 metres west of Hamilton Boulevard) and Hamilton Boulevard (full length) will be closed to traffic from 7:00pm Saturday 14 February to 1:00am Sunday 15 February 2026. Greenhill Road will operate under lane closures between Unley Road and Cooke Terrace during the same period to assist with safe pedestrian egress following the event. Parking Restrictions: To facilitate the road closures and ensure safe patron access, parking restrictions will be implemented along Rose Terrace and Hamilton Boulevard during the day on Saturday 14 February. Property access for residents and businesses will be maintained until 7:00pm on Saturday 14 February 2026. On-street parking in some sections of Rose Terrace and Hamilton Boulevard will be prohibited from 7:00am to midnight on Saturday 14 February. Traffic marshals will be present to facilitate traffic management and safe patron ingress and egress Normal parking conditions will be reinstated from 12:01am on Sunday 15 February 2026. Overnight Works Some overnight activity will be required for event setup and pack down. Every effort will be made to keep noise to a minimum. All plant and equipment used during these times will be fitted with white noise beepers rather than standard reversing alarms to further reduce disruption.
