Being Adelaide's largest multi-purpose venue, the Adelaide Showground has a number of outdoor spaces that can suit a variety of events. Everything from outdoor display sites, to a concert or music festival, right through to a unique party/event space.

Hamilton Boulevard
The icon of the Adelaide Showground, the Ferris Wheel, welcomes you to the Hamilton Boulevard. Flanked by gum trees, this mixture of grassy and paved areas is the perfect location for an outdoor event - giving you the best of both beautiful and functional spaces.

Kingsway
The Kingsway connects to the Hamilton Boulevard, as well as the Stirling Angas Pavilion and the Western Boulevard. The greenery provides excellent shade, as well as extensive area for amenities and temporary structures to the South of the Kingsway.

Main Arena
With Stadium Seating, and easy access for contractors and for patrons, the Main Arena can transform to suit your needs. With a capacity of 12,000 throughout the grandstands and terraces, as well as the ability for standing space on the arena , combine the Main Arena with one of our other outdoor spaces for a flexible area for catering outlets, merchandise locations, amusements and public amenities.
Other Outdoor Event Venues

Atrium
Connecting the Jubilee, Goyder and Wayville Pavilions, with direct access from Goodwood Road, the Atrium is the largest covered outdoor area at the Adelaide Showground. Providing a number of catering outlets, as well as ample seating and space for presentations and displays, the Atrium is the perfect all-weather outdoor venue without the need for additional structures.

Brick Dairy Lawn
Connected to the Historic Brick Dairy, as well as loading and public entry from Leader Street, the Brick Dairy Lawn and surrounding area provides a easy to use area that provides natural borders without the need for additional fencing.

Beef Cattle Lawn
Located adjacent to the Main Arena, the Beef Cattle Lawn is a blank canvas. With easy access from Leader Street, the lawn and crescent provide an easy to access and use site to work in conjunction with another venue space or as a standalone area.
